WITH CASE. Cal. 38. S# 7187. Bbl. 3". Double action folding trigger revolver produced by an unknown mfg. in Belgium. Rear face of cyl. exhibits a Belgian commercial proof. Major metal components exhibit a blue finish, with some smaller parts exhibiting a straw finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Bead front sight, with diminutive U-notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: vintage black laminated paper box, marked with a "Orlean/ du/ Paris" label on the interior. CONDITION: major metal components retain traces of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning, as well as varying degrees of oxidation and pitting overall. Fair pitted bore, retaining fair rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Box shows exterior wear and a few tears, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: from the collection of a Tennessee gentleman. (24-4567/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
